His journey to Vaudit started with a question too many advertisers ask:

1. What made you realize something was fundamentally broken in how digital ad spend is managed?
“I had all the proof.
Automated bots filling out forms. Out-of-geo clicks. Session logs.
And still, I got told ‘tough luck.’”
That’s when it hit me: Advertisers have no transparency. Attribution systems just track what happened, not whether it should have happened or if it was real.
Vaudit was the first solution I saw that didn’t just analyze data, they audited it.

2. So what stood out to you about Vaudit?
“They weren’t optimizing campaigns.
They were auditing them. That’s the difference.”

3. You’ve met a lot of operators. What made Mike and the team stand out?
“Mike didn’t pitch me. We talked like two people who understood the same problem.”
It wasn’t just that he’d built something impressive, it was that he got it. From agency politics to platform incentives to billing structures, Mike understood both the sales and the auditing side.
We spoke the same language. And I knew right away, I’d work with this guy.
4. This is your first time in a fully distributed, global operation. How’s that experience been?
“Thailand, Europe, U.S. clients, it’s chaos. And I love it.”
It keeps you sharp. No two days feel the same. And with a model like Vaudit’s, being distributed isn’t a constraint. It’s a strategic advantage.
5. Vaudit has investors like Omar Hamoui, who built and sold AdMob. What does that kind of backing mean to you?
“It means we’re not just building product.
We’re building with people who’ve lived this.”
Omar’s seen the inside of the machine. He built one of the most successful mobile ad networks ever, and sold it to Google. He knows where the waste hides. It gives us knowledge and credibility where it matters.
6. You had a lot of offers after leaving Piwik PRO. Why this one?
“I talked to way too many companies.
This was one of the only teams I walked away from thinking, ‘That’s my people.’”
The tech was there. They’ve already demonstrated real evidence of auditing millions of ad events, then flagged and recovered millions in spend from the bill.
But more than anything, I believed in the team. They had conviction, but no ego. That’s rare.
7. Any final words?
You can have the best product in the world, but if you don't like the people you're working with, what's the point?
That's what sealed it for me, and honestly, that's probably the only thing you'll remember from this whole interview
