Their goal was to simplify the complex world of sales and use tax compliance through the development of world class applications driven by extensive and deep tax expertise. The result is a vibrant, growing and professionally managed company that has grown from a single client, who sought us out to outsource their entire tax function, to a provider of solutions to Fortune 500 companies in just a few years. This first client is still with us today. In fact, because of our high quality solutions, expertise, and customer service mindset, no client has ever left Taxcient for another provider.
In September, 2007, the company changed its name from vAudit to Taxcient. The name change, accompanied by our new tag line, “The Science of Tax”, embraces the foundational mission of the company that is even stronger today – the belief that customers need and want technology driven by deep tax expertise, not the other way around. As Taxcient, we continue our strategic expansion into technology and services that reduce tax complexity, operational inefficiencies and costs, and compliance risk – all based on the real-world experience of our growing team of tax experts.
